How We Determine Pet Values

Pet values are estimates, not official numbers

Adopt Me does not publish official pet values. Every value list in the community, including ours, is an interpretation of what players are actually trading. This page explains exactly how we build our numbers, where they fall short, and how to use them wisely.

Where our numbers come from

Our engine collects published value data from several independent Adopt Me value sources and compares them against each other. When multiple sources agree on a pet’s value range, that consensus becomes our listed value. When sources disagree, the engine holds back and keeps the last agreed value instead of publishing a guess. No single source decides a value on its own. That cross-checking is the core of our method.

How often values update

The engine re-checks sources every 3 days. Separately, our on-site collector takes daily snapshots of market movement, which power the risers and fallers on the value history page. When sources are stable and nothing meaningful changed, values stay put. We do not invent movement to look busy.

What our values are not

They are not official Adopt Me or Roblox figures. They are not taken from your personal trades, and they are not set by a room of expert traders voting by hand. They are algorithmic estimates built from public community data, describing typical trade ranges rather than guaranteed prices. Demand moves fast in Adopt Me, so any value can go stale within days during volatile periods.

How to use our values

Use them as a starting point, not a final verdict. Always check the demand rating next to the value, because a high-value pet with low demand can be harder to trade than a cheaper pet everyone wants. For big trades, compare our numbers with one or two other sources before you commit.

Report a wrong value

If a value looks off compared to trades you are actually seeing, contact us and describe what you are observing. We review reports and adjust the engine when the evidence is consistent.
